Methinks
My Soul grows hollow as it sinks
Into darkness while it shrinks
Then,
Now,
I cannot see
The dwindling shimmer
As Light draws back and falls dimmer
I cannot see
The faint
Faint
Glimmer
Of a notion (an inkling)
Of a twinkling
Star…..
This expanse
Is my environ
And that environ
Is Empty
