Tattered soul
Every heart beat
To me is agony
As well as the seconds in between
With every kick,
Every punch,
Every harsh word
My soul bleeds
My soul already
Has so much despair
I think the last time
It walked God’s green Earth
It was returned
In tatters
I am young
Yet I have depression
I am almost certain
My soul was brought back
Damaged beyond repair
Because my eternal pain
Was supposed to go away
