The consert
I’m standing with the others waiting for you to come out.
I look around people of all ages and races are looking at the stage.
Waiting, just waiting for that moment that they had traveled so far to see, happen.
I hear shouts and cheers.
Standing on my tip toes I finally see you!
I scream along, my heart starts to race!
The music starts.
It’s as if you read my mind!
You had started with my favored song!
The sound of your voice fills my mind and drowns out the shouts!
The sound of the bass and drums fill my sole so that it over flows.
It’s as if I’m inside a bolt of lightning!
So existing, so full of energy!
I jump up and down with my fist in the air not caring what people thought.
They were doing it too!
We all rocked out till our heads heart from the noise and head banging.
We screamed till we no longer had a voice in which to tell how much we’re having fun!
Then it stopped and you said that you loved every one of us and that God loves us then left.
I knew I was going to have a huge headache in the morning but I would do it all over again if I was given the chance.
