Bossy
Loneliness fills your body
As you breathe heavily into the dark
Your restless eyes search for a rescue
While your speechless mouth cries out for help
You hang your head on your knees that are pulled tightly to your chest
You are hopeless and friendless
Love-deprived and your tears have run dry
All because you wanted to be the boss
You’re lost in the blackness of your soul
Trapped in your house that is not a home
Stranded with nothing to do
But wallow in self pity
All because you wanted to be the boss
It should have been a sign
When each of your friends signed off for the last time
One by one
Fed up with your attitude
Sorry to have met you
And you blow it off because you claim to have better things to do
When you tried to be the boss
People need to be told
The things that they need to improve
But they also need a self confidence boost
Give them a compliment
Give them some help
But don’t criticize them
Til’ all they can do is leave you out
Because you are not the boss
