When Death Calls
With her last breath, he howls in anguish.
Limp in his arms is the woman he loves…
Loved.
No longer will those red lips touch his.
Her warm, soft skin fades…
Cold.
No longer is there hope…
Despair conquers.
Light fades…
Darkness.
What was… is gone.
Forever.
Drastic measures are taken.
But Death laughs at all who challenge.
Mortality loses…
Everything.
