Jeans of Memories

Old, tattered, and torn
With holes and ripped from being whole
Incomplete, insecure, and forgotten
Faded, dull, old blue jeans
Lost in ripped holes
Holes of my blue jeans
Years after a mislead life
You find them again in an attic
Against a grimy wall
Covered and grinned with cobwebs
You brush of the impermeable dust
And you found what you had lost
Hope and dreams that was shattered by
What you had given up for others
Memories of past years, good and bad
Those jeans had been there with you
Each hole representing a fall and a trip
Each stain showing a fight
As you hold onto those jeans you feel
The warmth and the biting cold truth
The smile and a slow dripping tear
You feel the joy and the agonizing pain
You feel the kiss and the break-up
And auditions and the curtain call
Those jeans were with you thru the ups and the downs
Even thru the words you’re hired to you’re fired
Now best of all
Those jeans are with you now when you
Rediscovered the memories you had lost
