Mother Nature
The snow keeps falling
through the streets
and throughout the night
Covers up the stains and slush on your face
And at night while the citys sleeping
we both see how it should be
But when the cock crows
its back to work again
and back to black pavement
and tar filling up our eyes
Looking at your world its never really changing
Because to think about change
you need a solid reference point
A point to differ from and to remember
as the good old days
But from dawn to dusk
and to the next sunrise
you never see
consistency in a single
day.
