Peace
I walk along the beach.
My feet squish in the sand.
A warm tear rolls down my cheek.
I think about the one thing I want.
The one gift that would send our loved ones home….
World peace
The only gift I want.
For all of the boys and girls who wake up alone in the night.
For all the husbands and wives who are now widowed.
For all the moms and dads who lost a beloved son or daughter.
For such a thing that stolen millions of young lives
