As she runs through the woods
It remains safe in her
Tiny Cupped Hands
The key to the place that will
Set Her Free
The hunters gain
And gain...
And gain
To the point where
This Is It
Tripping over a branch
She spills her freedom
And all she hears as she reaches for it is
One Quick Painless Scream

Wow, I love this! I think that it's very interesting that you make freedom into something physical, something "she" is capable of holding. I liked the capitalization of "tiny cupped hands;" by using tiny, it makes the character seem small, fragile, and insignificant.

Great job!

I'd love if you took a look at my work; thanks!
