Every day I wake up and I hear the video game
It calls out to me trying to lure me in
But I refuse to listen
I have plans that need to be fulfilled
I have been working hard every day since I could remember
Thinking to myself is it going to be worth it?
My own family wants me to slow down
But I refuse
I have goals to achieve and parents to make proud
I can’t live to see them both being let down
I will work hard every day to make it happen
That is the only wish I have
