FIFTEEN
Five thousand four hundred and seventy eight days
Inched closer to day of death
Flimsy little children no longer i am
This year in rather insignificance
Eternity more is yet to live
Escape is far for hell i stay
Next is sixteen, sweet i pray

This poem is about the value of being fifteen years old. One has lived a good amount of time to mature and understand the world and its truth. But how important is being fifteen? There is still a lot more to live but simultaneously time is ticking. Fifteen is not an easy year, but sixteen is the one that gets the attention. Fifteen simply exists.
Note: the calculated number of days (5,478) includes 12 regular years and 3 leap years (365*12 + 366*3 = 5,478 days)
