as i sit here, i will die
and in the end i might just fly
i fly high into the sky just like i'm a butterfly
fly, fly, butterfly, fly. fly high into the sky, don't be
afraid of heights, because you're a butterfly
we can be butterflies, too bad we would have to die
lets not be butterflies because we don't want to die.
we still want to fly, but we don't want to die. lets leave flight to the butterflies
so we can watch them all fly, fly high into the sky.
not even afraid of heights, because they are butterflies and they are made to fly

fly high into the sky
you shouldn't want to die because then we all [people] will cry

i performed this february 13, 2021 during a talent show/ open mic
i was being bullied because i had bad health and it was ruining my athletic performance
not more than 2 months and 5 days later, i was rushed to the hospital from insanely low RBC and iron counts. my hemoglobin was 6.8 and my iron was way lower than the healthy level. people told me to quit faking and being weak when i was told i couldn't lift or run until my levels were back to normal. during this time, i did lots of push ups, pull ups, feet to bar, curl ups, squats, planks, flutter kicks, and dead hangs.
