Thunderstorms

The flash of light temporarily blinds me.
The crack of thunder temporarily deafens me.
It is then that I temporarily feel at peace, as if all of my problems never existed.
Then as fast as it came, it leaves.
I sit and wait for another bright flash, and another loud crack.
Then temporarily feel at peace again.
