“A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.” - Nelson Mandela

A room that holds all my ideas, holds memories and laughs
Cries and unhappy moments where only you know about
A space where you hide to be alone or get away from the world
There’s no sound in less it’s from me.
The happy times, ill laugh and sing and talk with friends
I forget there’s anyone else in the house,
But not all the times are like this.

My lights turn blue, and the times aren’t so good.
I hide this from everyone, but we all have those days.
You think of an unhappy memory and all those tears come back,
I cry less and less every time I think of that memory.
Maybe one day there will be no tears left to cry.

A room is a space so dependent, my lights can even change my mood,
When there’s cloths everywhere and I can’t make it to the door
You don’t want to get up, there’s no point to move
My mattress is already molded to my body from the last four hours,
The comforter is messy, and the pillows are just the way I like it.
I could just stay there, and no one would no.

I wrote this poem while in my room and I felt safe. My creative thoughts were flowing and the first thing that came to mind is just the atmosphere around me.
