2022 Traditions Contest - December 25th
Waking up in a fever dream,
December 25th
the best day of the year.
I jump from bed, eager to see,
What Santa has left under my tree.
8 am, snowing outside,
Then to my grandparents I go,
to open gifts he left at their home,
drinking good eggnog and steak,
So big and rare, barely fit the plate.
To my great granddad´s,
we eat ham and some cake,
open more presents, because it’s never too late.
At home, we watch movies and chill.
Until next year, to again feel this thrill.
