Too Elect
“Love it or leave it” is a common phrase,
America it is meant to Praise.
Freedom, love, and liberty,
These are what we strive to be.
Overbearing Democrats seem to believe
that over seas need not these.
It is not our duty to share and protect,
But to turn the other cheek
And deem ourselves too elect.
However, who are we to choose who tastes the joy of democracy,
Or gets the ability to free?
Should not we help those in dire need?
Who require our aid to help them be?
Some say we are playing “God”,
that we stick our hands where they don’t belong.
But our brothers and sisters need our guidance,
to conquer injustice and create their country’s alliance.
Not only for the need to spread liberty,
do we go to their land to help them free.
But parts of their group attacked us,
Which cost the lost of our shaky trust.
American lives were taken on American soil,
And blood, unsurprisingly, began to boil.
Fathers, daughters, mothers and sons,
All were lost, but the battle is still not won.
The liberal media demands to show
only those who love to say their favorite word “NO”.
Although these “Peace Lovers” are shown as the majority,
Perhaps they are really the loud minority.
They say there is no way we can help,
“back out, back out,” they begin to yelp.
Is that fair?
to leave a country standing there?
Believing we were there to stay,
They allowed us the chance to show them the “American Way.”
Is that the impression we want to leave,
That when it’s hard, we run and stampede.
This isn’t the America our fathers’ once knew,
Where the colors red, white, and blue waved true.
