I Have a Name MAG

I'm tired of being that black Muslim girl.
I'm tired of the feeling.
The heavy feeling on my chest
as I walk out the door.
The feeling that I am a representation
of my race.
A representation of my religion.
Is it so hard to see me as an individual?
I have a name.
I have a NAME
I have A NAME.
I HAVE A NAME.

Hello! I wrote this poem so people who aren't like me could see what it's like being me.
