I walk in the dark
clashing with images in my head
it’s one in the morning

i sit in a dark corner
looking around
I see a man standing there

I stare at him for a moment

I watch you in amazement
terrified and glad your here at the same time
wondering if it’s you
made me feel all blue

he takes a step towards me
and I, a step back
he tells me to calm down
and all I need is a little slack

I look in his hand
and see what he has
I look at you
and the time has passed

we stare in each others eyes
never looking away
and we run to each other
