All I want is to let my spirit fly.
Fly fly away. Farther than the heavens.
Farther than the stars.
Fly all the way out to the ends of the universe,
Just to break free.
I want to let go of this pain,
Let go of the tears I hold back.
I only wish that I could.
I only wish that I could let my past go,
And forget all of the suffering.
Forget all the pain.
I want to be myself.
I want to dance recklessly,
Sing so loud that everyone hears.
Read until there is no book left,
Jump so high just to reach the sun.
I want to become someone that can hold their own.
Be courageous and brave.
Stand up for what they believe in.
I just want to be myself.

For so many years, I have wanted to break free. I think I have finally found my way, and that is love.

This poem really hit home with me. You can tell you really put yourself into the piece. You are a great writer. If you can find the time, try to look at some of my work. It would be really nice to get some feedback. Keep writing, you're really good!
