A man clothed in infamy
Waits to discover
If they found him guilty
And his faults were uncovered

He stalks the hallways
And knocks on the door
Foolishly hoping
He’s not ever more

The judge gives his verdict
They look for the man
But he’s left the world
With a knife in his hand

The air is tight, the people are solemn
It’s quite sad, you see
If he had waited, he would know
He was sentenced innocently

When i started this poem, all i had really thought about was the first line "Man clothed in infamy" everything else just flowed onto the page.
