Take Me Away Again
I shot the present to pieces.
I wrecked all of our plans.
I want to escape the present,
Turn our foreheads into creases
And put wrinkles on our hands.
To escape time with you.
Sit by the fire you made
Under your rival teams blanket
Beneath the shade of time,
And, hidden by dozens of second chances,
Create memories so extraordinary
That we stop to think we time was ever relevant.
Come hide with me under the covers and take me away again.

That's supposed to be "That we stop to think WHY time was ever relevant."
