Paper
Hands together, maybe we'll learn to love
For now I'll just hold down all hope
Heart tender, how eager to shun
Drawn are the beasts to it's smoke
It's a ruin, watch cities burn down
Towns all with frauds as their king
Well it's paper, the sky to the ground
And Tattered or torn are it's sheets
Shattered or shorn, what a frivolous pick
Either way thrown out from heaven
mountains of days, with an Exodus swift
How is a match such a weapon
Am I safe in the arms of my grief?
All of the love was of glass
Listen close to this breath which I breathe
I fear it may be my last
I need to learn to love the snow

Paper is about lost loves and having to leave behind things that couldn't last.
