Where were you last night?

I was at home!
I had a double dish of
dinner. I wrote and answered
questions. I went to bed.
I was at home!

Ring! Ring! Ring! My
phone vibrated.
I talked on the phone.
Me without a phone is like a wingless butterfly.
It was midnight!
I talked on the phone last night!

I was at the football game!
Popcorn and hotdogs fill the
air, soda puddles on the cold hard ground, the
crowd flooding out of the stands.
TOUCHDOWN! Ahh! Ahh!
I was at the game-
overcrowded, loud cheering, and an awesome win!

I was at a party!
The neighbors complained,
about the intolerable music
that screeched down the road.
Crazy idiots get drunk with alcohol.
I think I’ll leave!

I sat at home!
I did nothing!
