"The optomist proclaims we live in the best of worlds, and the pessimist fears this is true." - James Branch Cabell

I analyze myself
My thoughts, categorized.
I am my own psychologist.
I become more distant
From my emotional self
And take the mind of my observer.
My thoughts, categorized, are dull
And then there’s only blank.
No more victim, only doctor.
Doctor, my helper, who spares me
From my emotional self.
And I am in the mind of my observer.
Speak and diagnose, repair.
Seek and find, heal.
There are labels, no exceptional feelings.
Because my thoughts are categorized.
And I am distant from my self.
Leave behind the victim, doctor.
Just speak, seek
Diagnose, and fix.
Because then there’s only blank, doctor.
Doctor, my helper, my self.
My self, analyzed.

wow...i don't know what to say. i'm trying to think of some kind of feedback that would help you, but nothing's coming to me. i absolutely loved it. this poem is me. this is exactly how i think, but i can never find the right words to say what i'm thinking or feeling. this is how i want to write. it's definitely an inspiration!!
