What I Want to Be
Sometimes I do not like what the world around me has to offer
Putting my heart and soul into it and being surrounded by gauffers
I hate the rules and boundaries that are set
By society, training me as a little pet
I want to be what the world needs
Not some politician or lawyer signing away on contracts and deeds
I want to be the sparkle of hope in people’s lives
That takes us away from the bomb threats, wars, violence, and lies.
Someone who can give people a reason to believe
That the world is not full of murderers and thieves
That it is what we make it to be
I wonder how many will believe in me?
