The Irony of a Motivational Classroom
Live, love and laugh
Says the poster on the classroom board
How ironic are it’s words
I live to see the waves of the beauty
Crashing against the rocky shore
By the waters right next door
But receive scolds because I chose to see the lake
And now my homework will be late
I love a boy who I chose to be in my life
Spending hours doing nothing without complaint
Only to reject offers because of school restraints
Endless studying or mindless fun
Unfornately I can only choose one
I laugh with the boy I love
On the lake where we begin to live
Giving each other all the time we have to give
Trying to show each other we care
But always fearing the teacher’s glare
Live, love, and laugh
Says the poster on the classroom board
How ironic are it’s words
