Thoughts in a Classroom
Little minds, small chest and wide eyes
Watching high school generate two truths and one lie
People envying cheerleader girls and football jocks
Soon replaced by those who can afford keys and locks
Nothing lasts forever, so let them laugh and leer
Soon you will take your bull by its horns
And live as you’ve just been born
But for now, eyes and ears to the board
At least until life decides to strike a different chord
