Hitler reigns these days
He shall be my killer
No hope for me my
My fate is death and agony

Two weeks later we get the news
My sister has been called for labor tranport
We flee to our hiding spot
Behind the wall
Up the stairs
We have our secret home
Our neighbors hide inside there too
Eight people all together

Then one day the wall is opened
We are torn from safety
Half sent here
Half sent there
I miss my family

After death
I will find them
I will find my family
I will be home once again

I was studying the Holocaust in school and it inspired me to write this poem.
