Divorce
Divorce is like a war
two sides battling against each other
Trying to win possession of land
Divorce is like a tornado
Pulling in mixed feelings
Divorce is like the news
One event can can destroy so many things
Divorce is like a 50/50 ticket
You never know who’s gonna win
That's what divorce is

This article was written on a personal event that I had to go through when I was 8 years old. Something that stuck out to me was the emotions that were flooding around my family and how it affected them. Now I decided to write about this flashback memory that stuck with me and knowing how hard this can be or just affect you emotionally. So this poem is somewhat describing in different ways how divorce can be.
