Weathered Eyes
The faint whisper
of the light
blowing
Rain
Could not be heard
Could barely be seen
But the Rain
was there
And it wanted someone
to notice
To acknowledge all it creates
All it has destroyed
The inspiration it lent you
The life it gave you
Now is all a
faint whisper
Until the thunder
screams in anger
And the lightening opens
Your weathered eyes
