When life gives you lemons, make grape juice, then watch everyone wonder how you did it!

It sounds so foreign
But so familiar
It’s normal to everyone else
But not to me
It seems to emancipate
But I’m still bound
It seems so easy
But I just don’t know how

The author's comments:
I wrote this from Alex's (my fictional character's) POV. Because he was never loved in his life until Vivie came along, this is kind of his warped view of it.

If not for the title/your note, I wouldn't know it was about love. I was kind of expecting to learn what "it" was in the last line (because a lot of poems do that at the very end) but the revelation wasn't there. I liked the deep thoughts put into it, though.

AMAZING! Short, sweet, and an entirely new take on love! I love this poem, it has a nice rhythm to it, and is very beautiful.
