She was the one who changed my life,
The one that smiled so bright.
She used to hold my hand,
Day and night.

She was the one who stuck by my side,
And never tried to go.
She was my friend,
Not my foe.

She was the one who cried when I left,
And smiled when I came back.
Every time I got behind she was there,
Always picking up my slack.

She was the one who never gave up,
And never let me down.
When I was sad,
She was there turning my frown.

She was the one who had my heart,
And still does today.
She may have died,
But in my heart she never went away.
