Wishful thinking left and right
Don’t even know how I feel tonight
My stony glare fills with tears
The hope in me disappears
Stay good stay better
Stay who you are forever
Don’t let anyone take that ever
I force myself to tell another lie
As I found it’s the only way left for me to survive
I wish I love I hate I die
I live within no room to cry
My pulse seems to be fading
Slowly it fades down, down and away
I hope I’m missed when I’m gone
I hope someone thinks of me when they hear my favorite song
I walk right towards the light
And I softly say goodbye to my fight
I wish I love I hate I die
Goodbye, goodbye, I’m gone tonight

Thank-you, I'm glad you liked my poem. Is there anything I can do to improve it?

I don't know if I am going to go any where with my art/writing. I'd love to, but look at this website as an example: There is just so many other people out there, so many people who are better than I am at art or writing, or they are more creative...

It's easy to feel like you'll only get lost in the world. It's easy to feel like you're only one of millions and not special in at all, despite everything your parents told you growing up. Do you find the same thing?

Thank-you for taking the time to comment on my picture! I'm glad you liked it.

By the way, in the comments I made about your poems I was trying to think of "constructive criticism" and whatnot.

The thing is, I've been thinking and I've decided that poems are usually for the writer. If the larger audience is able to find some enjoyment in it, that's merely a by product. I did like your poems, I can relate, but then, so can many teenagers.

The bottom line is that if writing poems helps you and makes you happy, keep it up. And regardless of whether or not you want it to, the world will be there, apraising your work.

I'm not sure what to say...

Technically, very good with the rhyming and such.

Otherwise, very sad and depressing -- not that it's a bad thing, per se.

I don't know what to say.
