Hofstetter Family Christmas Party - Sijo
“All I want for Christmas is…
My two front teeth, my two front teeth!”
Except, it’s broken-hearted
Eyes are pink as tears chart the cheek,
Because Grandma is gone. Thanks, cancer.
“Ein Prosit! For Bonnie!”

All I want for Christmas is a family classic. My great grandparents started the tradition in the mid-late 90’s. Sadly my great grandpa passed 8 years ago, and grandma passed Nov. 30th, 2018. I started this poem during the party with a heavy heart, and as the poem states, tears streaming down my face.
