Feeling so empty and alone
like everything is so vain
you searched for love
in a broken
and God-forsaken world
all you want to do
is somehow feel alive
sadness holds your heart
and your soul from being seen
forget your pain and sorrow
you've been hiding
afraid of hurting
open your eyes
all along
you've been standing
on the edge of love
