Drop of the Ocean
The top of the crisp ocean waves feels as if I’ve been cut by a knife
watching the waves hit the rocks
tiptoeing through the sand, trying to be completely silent
but the crash of the bright, blue waves feels as if silence is speaking
the ring of my phone
looks like the ocean is calling me
the rain hits my finger with a drip of sadness
all I can feel is blue
