Success with Stress
Lost with not enough time,
I’m trapped, not learned to rhyme.
Without the glinting of dimes,
My life should start--can’t find.
Vouch for great success,
And rush towards more tests?
But all that violent stress
Would break my fragile chest.
Never able to breathe,
Feelings always kept sheathed.
My own route changed: seized
Now my future rests, grieved.
So what path do I go down?
Will I stay behind and hide a frown?
Do I rush ahead when not allowed?
Or should I just lay down and drown?
