Citizen of this World
Flowing around me, like the most ferocious rapids, are my thoughts.
Never ceasing to run -- is my imagination.
And never easing up is my hand, always scribbling, whether it be on paper or on a blank page in my head.
Moving is my body to keep up with the constantly whirling universe.
Always running are my legs, so to not get trampled in the storm or stampede.
Eyes open and alert as to not get swallowed whole by this vast world who, it seems, is so determined to bring me down.
I am human, I am girl, I am citizen of this world.
