Everyone knows who the best basketball player of all time is, Michael Jordan. But there is this one guy that is chasing his ghost and has almost surpassed him that guy is LeBron James. There are some people who argue that LeBron is not close to MJ because LeBron hasn’t even passed Kobe yet well these people are what I like to call Kobetards.

The only valid arguement for these Kobetards that Kobe is better is that he has 5 rings (championships) and LeBron only has 3. But there are many things that go into winning championships. One of these things is basketball is a team game and Kobe had a top 5 player all time on his team in Shaq and had Phil Jackson who is a very good coach. The best player LeBron has was Dwayne wade who was good but no where near as good as Shaq. Another reason why Kobe’s 5 rings dont mean much to LeBrons is Kobe played against lesser talent teams then LeBron has. Kobe played teams like Pistons, Pacers, Magic, Nets, Celtics. All those teams were bad besides Celtics. LeBron has played against the best team of all time in the Golden State Warriors.

LeBron is also better then Kobe at everything besides free throws and maybe midrange. LeBron has better personal traits. Like LeBron makes average players into good players he creates shots for other players. 

LeBron is so good and terrifying that he made the Golden State Warriors who had the best record of all time call a top 3 player in the league right after they lost in finals to join them because they apparently didn’t already have enough talent.

Hopefully I made some valid points on why Kobe is not even close to LeBron and is almost disrespectful to compare them.
