Pancakes

The school pancakes are warm and damp. It's floppy from the condensation that builds up in the small, yet delicious looking bag. Hard to not even imagine eating them, just leaving them there for 5 more minutes would have been torturous. When it is dipped in the syrup, it brings all the flavors together. The normal cake part is only a little bit noticeable, while the birthday sprinkles are defined the most complimented by the syrup. The pancakes melt in my mouth as if I am putting a sweet birthday cake with frosting in my mouth. The sweet taste lingering in my mouth. The sweet taste forces my brain to crave more. When my hand gets curious to see what the next one tastes like, it goes into the wet bag, and comes out like the vegetables that have just gotten sprayed at the grocery store: dripping in water, then when picked up and rustled a little bit, the water sprays off as if it were a dog shaking its water off of itself after receiving a bath. My mouth is always once again curious as to what the next one will taste like, maybe it will be the same, or better yet more delicious. Always craving the pancakes more and more for no reason. The pancakes better with syrup sometimes need to be eaten without it to be appreciated. You have to enjoy what you are eating, and take into consideration how good it is. Picking up the school pancakes, there was no thought of it bringing the satisfaction it did. All in all, after eating these, I have gained a new favorite breakfast snack, and learned to always try something no matter what I may think it will be like.
