   I agree that fourteen-year-olds know what they are doing, but they are not treated as an adult in any other area of life, so why should it be any different in a murder case. Most fourteen-year-olds do not have many responsibilities. They cannot drive or have a job, so why should they be tried as adults?

I think that sixteen is a proper age that a teen should be able to be tried as an adult. At sixteen, a teen is old enough to drive, have a job and definitely old enough to know what s/he is doing. n
