I've done my part

To be a good citizen.

I vote and send,

Letters to my congressmen.



To support the nation

I pay my taxes,

For government programs

But you just waste it on faxes.



"More money you want,

you waste what you get.

It's no wonder,

you keep, increasing the debt."



The programs you promised

The taxes you wouldn't raise,

"It's the Congress' fault!"

Is all you can say.



If the politicians in Washington

Can't get through the day,

Get out of the city,

Let someone else have a say.



We are the government,

"of ... by ... and for ..."

those in office who shouldn't

Ought to find the door.
