I love you, Birdie
Summary:
I love you, Birdie is a coming of age story about the trials and tribulations of high school and an unexpected loss of a family member. This short story paints the picture of how difficult loss can be and how that can affect a teenagers mental health. Birdie tries to find beauty within the world and herself so she can move forward from her father’s death. The days where she feels like she can’t get out of bed have made her stronger and have transitioned her from a baby bird to a flying dove carrying her own personal olive branch.
