Summary:
Elliot lives with his bipolar mother, who turned to alcohol five years ago after her husband left. Elliot's had to fight for himself, growing into an adult at just the age of eleven. He developed depression, something that's been at the back of his mind for years. He finally becomes fed up, and attempts suicide. His best and only friend, Leo, manages to reach Elliot just before he commits, saving his life. They spend the following days together, going away on a camping trip for the weekend. Here, we see if Elliot decides to move on, or if he chooses to stay in his rut.
