It's Just A Game MAG

By Anonymous

   I stand ...

stand alone,

and nerves run through my veins.

I raise my trembling hand

and at the sound of the whistle,

the game begins.

A flutter ...

a flutter of a butterfly tickles my stomach.

The ball,

the ball strikes swiftly,

swiftly across the dampened grass.

back and forth

and back and forth.

In a quick flash

it jumps

from one team to the other.

Players giving their souls,

Pressure

Aggression

Determination

Two teams battling,

battling for the right to score but one point.

We put on these faces ...

game faces.

Serious and determined,

we play our hearts out.

We fight ...

fight for the right to say we won!
