In the Rain
I remember quite fondly that whenever it rained when I was still just a child I quickly ran outside to play in the rain. No umbrella, no rain-jacket, just me and the soft pitter-patter of the rain. I would run around and pretend I was a mighty warrior, never daunted by the rain, in fact the rain made it feel more epic, like I was the star of my own movie. I killed dragons, fought demons and destroyed armies single handedly, all in the rain. Hell hath no fury like my mothers when she came home to find her youngest son drenched to the bone, covered in mud, sometimes even in a tree to escape her haunting gaze for only a few more seconds more. Because I knew once she found me I couldn't play in the rain anymore. Even today the rain still holds some magic for me, it brings back memories and I still won't use an umbrella or a jacket. I love the rain.
