Rotting Room
Walking into the room, an aroma of cigarette smoke and stale food attached itself to the walls which enclosed me. The rotten bread that lay on the desk in front of me fumed with aged baloney and pungent mayonnaise. The stench assaulted my nose. Sugary coca-cola and burnt ashes produced a sickly aroma that would make one nauseous, if it were unfamiliar. The stench of the decaying room penetrated my nose, entrapping me in a musty room compiled of rancid food that has lived in this house longer than me. With each small, hasty breath stinging odors scorch my brain erasing all traces of the less familiar earthy grass for the stench of mold and reeking garbage that litters my life.
