Words are very powerful. A simple word can make someone's day, but at the same time a simple word can ruin someone’s life. Everybody should take words seriously, because whatever you say is always heard by someone. People can have a perception of you just by looking at you, and hearing your words. Just by using your words, you are able to do many things, and change many lives for the better or worse. Now, you know how important words are, imagine how important a sentence can be. If a sentence is written right, it can describe a person in many different ways. A sentence is very powerful no matter what.

Our assignment in class was to write a sentence that describes us or what we want to be known for. That was very difficult, because it can be very hard to describe someone in just one sentence. I think one sentence is too limited. But after a lot of thinking I figured out what I want to be known for, and what describes me the best. My sentence is “She gets excited when she finds parts of herself in someone else.”

I am a human being just like everyone else. I make mistakes, but what I love to do the most, is to influence people to be better, and to improve. Something I love doing a lot, is helping others just by using my words. I think of it as therapy for them and for myself. When I help someone and they actually improve, it gives me the feeling that I can rule the world, or like I accomplished something no one else has accomplished. Just by helping someone, I helped myself as well. I always wanted to be known for being helpful, kind, happy, joyful, and many more things. But what I noticed is that every person is never perfect and you can have times where you are in a bad situation in life and can’t solve it. Sometimes just speaking your mind to someone that will listen is very helpful, and I want to be that person. I want to be the person a friend can rely on, a person that is always remembered. But there is one drawback about this quality which is that I shouldn't expect everything I do and all the effort I give someone will actually work. Some people will not accept all the help I offer, so I shouldn't base my happiness on others. But at the same time, I love this quality and will try my best to improve it, this is something that I can be proud about. My sentence is “She gets excited when she finds parts of herself in someone else.”, because I love noticing that others have enhanced because of me, and their lives are better.
