watch out
The scream could be heard for miles, as the people of Costco turn to us. I had gone in to give her a hug but instead I had bitten Hailie’s cheek. Hailie, my best friend.
As I look up I see blood, as red as a tomato running down her cheek as little red drops are falling towards the ground. While our mothers are panicking, I look over at Hailie, and see rain drops falling from her eyes, I began to cry too. I didn’t know what to do or what I did wrong, so I just sat there and cried with her.
Looking back at this accident, I was too young to understand what I did wrong. From that day on, I have been called an ‘evil’ child by parents. 13 years later, I still get reminded from Hailie’s parents and my parents what I did to her that day.
I knew from that day on Hailie would always stick by my side through thick and thin. Hailie is someone who will always be able to understand my wild personality and I. I do not know what I would do without her… even with me being an ‘evil’ child.

My best friend since grade school inspired me to write this piece. I hope it intersets other, and makes them chuckle.
