When I was with you, it was easy. At least, it seemed that way. You were thrilling and exciting. When I was with you, ecstasy filled my body from head to toe, and I became addicted to the adventure. I waited silently for danger to place a kiss upon my very own lips. Instead you did. I liked every minute. I felt free, sexy, and humorous. When you placed your tender lips upon mine that was when I fell in love with the danger. You warmed up my cold, tormented soul, and casted away all my demons that danced inside me, even if it were only for a little awhile. I tell people nowadays that I didn’t love you, I’m not even sure if I liked you. I loved the way I felt when I was with you, how free and beautiful I finally was. I was absolutely in love with the idea of you. I was using you, just as much as you were using me. We complimented each other’s heartaches. We danced with each other’s devils. We zipped our lips to each other’s secrets. You were one of my secrets, and I was one of yours. In the end I fell in love with you, but you never fell in love with me. That’s the only time I felt completely and utterly surrounded, not only by my darkness, but by yours as well. Never again will I open my heart up so carelessly.
